Our deeply rooted faith sustains us...

November 3, 2019

Today we gathered at First Church for a special event to commemorate Our Deeply Rooted Faith Sustains Us and introduce 168 Days of Remembrance those stakeholders who are closest to our mission.

Many family members, survivors and first responders were in attendance as Chairman Justice Steven Taylor, Incoming Chairman Bob Ross and Executive Director Kari Watkins shared that the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum will be remembering those who were killed, honoring those who survived, and thanking those changed forever for the next 168 days leading up to the 25th Anniversary of April 19, 1995.

Following that announcement, author and speaker Jen Hatmaker shared an important message on the importance of faith and resilience, and Christian singer Nichole Nordeman performed and expressed her message through music.

168 Days of Remembrance begins on tomorrow November 4, on this site and the Museum’s social media pages. The Museum has also partnered with local news agencies to feature 168 Days of Remembrance across their platforms.
