First Person: Stories of Hope
This program provides Museum visitors the opportunity to hear from people directly impacted by the bombing, whose remarkable stories evoke feelings of compassion, hope, and inspiration to live our lives more meaningfully. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience history – and the Oklahoma Standard – from those who lived it. Available by appointment to groups of 25 or more, Monday through Friday.
Outdoor Symbolic Memorial National Park Ranger Tour
National Park Service Rangers are available to give site orientation talks about the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial to pre-scheduled groups between the hours of 9:00am and 4:30pm by appointment.
Memorial Archives Tour
Take a behind the scenes tour of the Memorial Archives, the storage and preservation facility of the Memorial. An archivist will lead you through millions of artifacts highlighting a few objects of interest.
Upon arrival to the Memorial Museum, your group leader should come to the ticket counter of the Memorial Museum (on the West end of the building, near the corner of NW 6th street and Harvey) to finalize payment. All others should remain on the bus or outside the Memorial Museum lobby. Tickets can be paid for prior to arrival or on arrival. Additional group tickets may be purchased at the group rate on arrival, but must be purchased with one payment.
Buses and Motorcoaches may load/unload passengers on 6th Street, but must park in the designated bus parking on 6th street or 7th Street, between Harvey and Robinson, in the designated bus parking zone. Group leaders and drivers should have a predetermined pick up time (in designated loading/unloading zones). Bus/Motorcoach parking is free.
Food & Beverages
School groups may bring sack lunches that may be eaten while visiting the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial grounds. Please bring trash bags for disposal of your group’s trash. Unattended containers will be picked up by security. No unattended bags or coolers are permitted on Memorial Grounds or in the Memorial Museum. Please leave your lunches on your bus until you are ready to eat.
